Position/Project:

Our client is expanding and taking on some exciting and new projects! The Development Manager is adding a member to the Agile Development Team to work on an enterprise modernization effort. This team will be retiring several legacy enterprise applications to rebuild modern applications with up-to-date technologies using microservices and cloud. We have an immediate need for a Full Stack Java Developer on a collaborative Agile team. The role will involve working with Java, Angular, SQL, and AWS in a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern Java
Deploy applications to AWS cloud environments using CICD pipelines
Create responsive user interfaces (UI) with Angular, ensuring seamless user experiences
Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with backend services
Provide problem-solving solutions and proactively seek opportunities to reuse or generalize existing services and implementation
Write efficient queries and manage data integrity using SQL
Possess strong communication and collaboration skills working with an Agile development team
Participate in code review sessions for proper code quality
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing as needed
Technical Environment: Java 8, Angular 14, AWS, SQL, Microservices, and more

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or Science field, or related work experience
Ability to communicate effectively to multiple teams
Experience with Java 8+
Experience with Angular 10+
Experience with SQL/RDBMS
Software Engineering knowledge and understanding of common terminology
Must be able to work on a W-2 without sponsorship
