Overview:

As a Frontend Developer at Batch, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and highly functional websites and web applications that closely match Figma designs or UI/UX specifications. Your primary focus will be on developing Next.js web applications, ensuring the highest standards of performance, responsiveness, and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and project managers, to deliver outstanding web solutions that align with our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain websites and web applications using Next.js, ensuring they adhere to design specifications and UI/UX best practices.
Translate Figma designs or UI/UX mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive web pages.
Collaborate with designers to understand design intent and ensure the highest level of visual fidelity.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and usability across various devices and browsers.
Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our projects.
Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions on time.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of professional experience in frontend web development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Extensive experience with Next.js and React.js, including server-side rendering and static site generation.
Solid understanding of responsive design principles and experience with CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap).
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
Knowledge of modern frontend build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
