The Tech stack

We use JavaScript (Typescript) for everything: React on frontend and NestJs on backend. Only the Fridge’s hardware takes part in resistance with Embedded C. And yes, even coffee machines do speak JavaScript
The backend is API first (RESTful) and is organized around 1 main service and a microservice. We use state machines, rule engines and other interesting concepts/patterns that help us simplify hard problems
Our infrastructure is inside AWS, most of our logic runs on ECS Fargate, but we also use many other AWS services. We are AWS Well-Architected Certified

Junior developer

You will contribute to the development of new features and business requirements. Furthermore you will help us improve our infrastructure and develop practices to help Foorban to grow reliably and to respect the performance needs related to our fast growth.
Your missionDevelop features in collaboration with all team members
Develop APM (Automatic Performance Tools), Logs, Metrics
Find and resolve code or infrastructure vulnerabilities
Must have:Degree in informatics/engineering or comparable hands-on experience
Strong interest on monitoring, performance and architecture
Curiosity in managing a production environment at 360 degrees
Loves writing code

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Agile Manifesto and practices
Previous hands-on experience on AWS, performance tests, penetration tests
Contract:Work Location: Rho (MI), we have flexible work from home policy, but most of us like hanging out a few days a week in the office with colleagues
