Role: SDE-3 (Lead DevOps Engineer)

Job Responsibilities:

Takes initiative to implement DevOps best practices.
Improve the Cost Efficiency and Observability of Cloud Infrastructure, and make them part of the Design Philosophy.
Work closely with development teams to understand and contribute into the roadmap and become the enabler.
Deep knowledge of the working of applications/services/containers of the systems as well as contributing to their overall design.
Work across teams to build reliability and scalability into the development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment of services hosted in AWS and K8S.
Automation mindset with a focus to build self-serve platforms.
Responsible for production and non-prod environments and their Improvements.
Simplification and optimisation of Site reliability Engineering and enabling them for better SLAs.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

Strong fundamentals of Linux, Microservices and AWS services
Exposure of Cost Efficiency, Reporting and Observability related projects.
Scripting using Python/GoLang
Thorough knowledge of CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket), Docker, K8s
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Terraform and Ansible
Thorough knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana or other TSDB etc.
Has been participated in managing the multiple Infra-centric Projects, using Jira/Asana.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Open to learn and explore new tools and technologies.
