Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dedicated team in Pune, India. As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Kiru, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our cutting-edge payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Software Developers and Product Managers, to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.
Conduct comprehensive testing of mobile applications, including functional and automated testing.
Perform API testing, preferably using tools like Postman for automated testing.
Utilize your expertise in Selenium to enhance test coverage.
Work collaboratively with developers to ensure good unit test coverage and 'testability' of code.
Identify, document, and track software defects, working with the development team to resolve issues promptly.
Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data.
Provide valuable input into the development process to improve product quality.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of quality assurance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in mobile test experience, including functional and automated testing.
Experience in API testing, preferably using tools like Postman.
Proficiency in Selenium for test automation.
Ability to work effectively with developers to ensure good unit test coverage and code 'testability.'
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for ensuring software quality.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.

Desired Skills

Previous experience in financial or payment systems testing.
Knowledge of additional testing tools and frameworks.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
