We are looking for a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our growing team in Pune, India. As a Backend Developer at Kiru, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend systems that power our cutting-edge payment solutions. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development Managers, Team Leaders, and other Software Engineers, to design and implement cloud-hosted and on-premises enterprise solutions.
Utilize your expertise in .NET and open-source technologies to develop new features and enhancements across the Kiru platform.
Create efficient and logical solution designs that adhere to our high-quality standards.
Work closely with Product Managers, Technical Product Owners, Front-end Development Engineers, Test Engineers, and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure the successful delivery of features and projects.
Actively participate in the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), following our product roadmap and planned release cycles.
Collaborate within an Agile Development Team, following methodologies like the Scrum framework.
Contribute to the definition and development of a Sprint backlog to achieve the goals set by our Product team.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
Develop unit tests to support and validate the functionality of your work.
Play a key role in shaping the working practices and technology decisions of the Development Team.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to your work.
Provide mentorship and coaching to other members of the development team to help them grow their technical skillsets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
At least 5 years of experience in a Software Development role is preferred.
Proven ability to deliver technical design within an enterprise payment application using .NET Core, C#, .NET, VB.NET, and JavaScript.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in .NET cross-platform development, including proficiency in versions such as .NET Core 3.1, 5, 6, or 7.
Demonstrable experience implementing .NET programming best practices.
Strong command of C# programming language with a minimum of 5 years of practical application.
Demonstrated expertise in effectively working with public cloud platforms, with a proven track record of 3-5 years in Azure or AWS.
Proficiency in developing and maintaining containerized dotnet applications running on Linux.
Proven experience in designing and implementing APIs using ASP.NET.
Familiarity with event-driven systems and the ability to excel in such dynamic environments.

Desired Skills

Experience with NoSQL “document” databases which store data as JSON (MongoDB is preferred).
Proficiency in Kubernetes container orchestration or equivalent frameworks, such as ECS on Amazon or App Fabric on Azure (Kubernetes is preferred)
Knowledge of DAPR (Distributed Application Runtime).
