Job Specification:

As a Senior DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our DevOps infrastructure. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers and work closely with development and operations teams to streamline our software delivery processes and ensure high availability and scalability of our online web applications.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps processes and tools.
Develop and implement best practices for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure automation using Jenkins, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
Manage and optimize our Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment, including EC2, RDS, and other services, to ensure cost-effectiveness, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle and automate deployment pipelines.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability and performance of our online web applications.
Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance our DevOps processes and infrastructure.
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Manage databases, including MySQL and MongoDB, and ensure their performance, availability, and reliability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in DevOps roles, with a focus on managing DevOps processes and infrastructure.
Deep experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, RDS, and other services.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
Experience with online web applications and managing high-traffic, scalable systems.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
