Job Overview:

We are looking for a Planning Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically in wind and solar projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using MS Project and possess strong knowledge of project planning and coordination. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop project schedules using MS Project, considering all project phases and milestones.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
Conduct project planning meetings and coordinate with various teams to gather inputs for schedule development.
Analyze project schedules to identify critical path activities and potential risks.
Monitor project progress and update schedules as necessary to ensure alignment with project timelines.
Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
Identify and address schedule deviations and propose corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely availability of resources and materials required for project execution.
Provide support and guidance to junior planning engineers as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
6 to 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling for wind and solar projects.
Proficiency in using MS Project or similar project management software.
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
