Job Title: Project Manager - Machine Learning / Gen AI

Location: 100% REMOTE

Must-haves:

5-8+ years of experience as a project manager working with technical teams.
Hands-on experience working with data science and machine learning/AI teams as a technical PM, with a deep understanding of machine learning, ML Ops, model deployment, model monitoring, LLM, NLP/GenAI.
Proficiency in Jira, including the ability to effectively use and query data beyond simple dashboard views.
Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience in a rapidly growing and evolving GenAI environment, with a focus on newer product development.
Proficiency in Python.
Understanding of AWS.
Experience interfacing with data science teams, engineers, and cloud teams, with the ability to understand technical jargon.

Responsibilities:

Manage projects related to machine learning and Gen AI initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Collaborate with technical teams to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure.
Utilize Jira to track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive timely resolution of issues.
Foster a culture of agility and continuous improvement within the project team.
Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
Work closely with data science teams, engineers, and cloud teams to facilitate collaboration and alignment.
Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in machine learning, AI, and project management methodologies.
